Abstract

This project is part of the canton of Otavalo province of Imbabura, analyzing how was the trade in ancient times in order to understand how was the process and growth of the markets in the canton to get to analyze the Copacabana market, market that It is named after the neighborhood where it is located, this is characterized by being a textile market in its majority, which has a lot of potential due to its centralized location, and because of the proximity to several historical landmarks of the canton. In the following degree work you can observe the analysis of the current problems of this market, and the solution proposed to give an improvement to a sector of the city with the implementation of a new market and the revitalization of its surrounding area.
