Centro cultural paisajístico de música tradicional imbabureña en la parroquia de San Roque, cantón Antonio Ante, provincia de Imbabura

Abstract

San Roque belongs to one of the four rural parishes of the canton Antonio Ante of the province of Imbabura with an area rich in vegetation, fauna and flora, a scenic beauty and a variety of culture and traditions. It is a parish where a large number of musical artists form and exist, however, they do not have the adequate spaces with acoustic characteristics and integration of the landscape in the architectural design. In addition, it was observed that they have a low green area index in square meters per person, well below what is recommended by the world health organization, which is 9m2 per person. In view of the problematic of the San Roque parish, exposed in the Territorial Development Plan of the canton and the parish, it is proposed in this study to design a cultural center for traditional imbabureña music in the parish of San Roque, canton Antonio Ante. The applied methodology is deductive method, quantitative approach, for which a survey was designed for 193 people from the San Roque parish, focused on the deficiency of space for recreation, traditions and musical diffusion, showing that the inhabitants have a high appreciation for musical talent, 81.35%, however they lack a space for musical events. For this spatiality, spaces such as parking, meeting space, exterior space, administration, museum – gallery lobby, bar – cafeteria, open auditorium, stage, dressing rooms, waiting room, rehearsal room, audio and video room, that will have as users 500 people according to the ordinances of territorial urban management. With the proposal of this study the favorable conditions for the community in the enjoyment of traditional festivals are generated, the interrelation of being human-nature-culture, is promoted, as well as improving the life satisfaction of the inhabitants of the sector.
