Abstract

The main objective of the present investigation is to make known to society how the process of labor and educational insertion of people with disabilities is found, especially those who study the career of Social Communication in the universities of Canton Ibarra. Know whether or not current regulations apply and what is the position of the authorities, citizens and institutions regarding this issue. The media in this sense play a fundamental role in the process of labor insertion because these companies have to adapt and include professionals with disabilities, however it is not done due to economic and physical situation. In this sense, the greatest commitment is from the State who should strengthen, expand and execute public policies so that they are fulfilled in favor of this vulnerable sector. It should be noted that this information will identify the causes and factors that limit professional development, as well as the labor insertion of professionals with disabilities in activities related to their academic training. In addition, it will be a very important guide tool for authorities, citizens and public, private and educational institutions, who according to their competencies seek to improve the living conditions of this priority group.
