Abstract: Soccer is one of the most popular sports in the world, therefore, professional teams have seen the need to implement sports marketing strategies that lead them to generate economic income and above all to captivate fans of this sport. According to Kotler (2002) "Marketing is a social process through which groups and individuals obtain what they need and want through the creation, offer and free exchange of products and services that others value". This concept was applied to football and its success has been resounding, especially in Europe the impact of marketing is observed, this is reflected in the economic stability of the teams and in the great attendance of people at the official matches that are integrated to the European leagues. According to Kotler (2002) "Sports marketing is a segmentation of marketing that aims to create a market opportunity for teams and companies that want to promote themselves in these activities." In this way the clubs can become profitable and form a business structure. In this context, according to our daily reality, Ecuador is one of the countries that has not yet managed to position effective sports marketing strategies and this is evidenced in the low movement of fans on sports stages. In addition, as mentioned above, it has been shown that the box office entry always leaves financial problems in the clubs. Despite having implemented marketing and communication departments to deal with this problem, there have been no improvements. Thus, the economic problems of the national schools have required managers to focus their gaze on the importance of this type of strategy. According to the observation of national games, it has been shown that the Ecuadorian fan is extremely pro-statist, that is, that the person goes to the stadium as long as his team has a good sporting moment. For this study a sample of teams participating in the Professional League of Ecuador has been chosen: Liga de Quito, Barcelona, Independiente, El Nacional, Deportivo Cuenca and Macara, we will know the sports marketing strategies of each of the teams and their influence on the sportsfans.
